Effective from 1 January 2026, Tecniplast S.p.a., global leader in the design, production and distribution of biomedical research solutions, will absorb by incorporation, Bioair S.p.a.. The operation follows the company’s acquisition of Bioair in 2021 and represents a further step in Tecniplast Group’s strategy of diversification and integration.

BioAir-Tecnilabo is proud to have become the first Italian manufacturer to obtain the NSF ANSI/49 certification for its Class II Type A2 microbiological safety cabinet, the SM-49. This certification represents an important milestone for the laboratory sector, as it is the first ever achieved by an Italian manufacturer.
