Tecniplast S.p.A completes merger by incorporation of Bioair S.p.A.

Effective from 1 January 2026, Tecniplast S.p.a., global leader in the design, production and distribution of biomedical research solutions, will absorb by incorporation, Bioair S.p.a.. The operation follows the company’s acquisition of Bioair in 2021 and represents a further step in Tecniplast Group’s strategy of diversification and integration.

The merger further strengthens the Group’s positioning in contamination control for biomedical research and biopharmaceutical production, consolidating its international footprint in high-performance laboratory and GMP environments.

This development also naturally fosters the growth path of Tecnilabo, the Group’s Laboratory Division, initiated in 2021 with the entry of Bioair and expanded in 2023 with the integration of KW Apparecchi Scientifici S.r.l. and Labosystem S.r.l..
